I've won several awards over the course of my long career.

My credits include work on Cyndi Crother's IPPY Award-winning book Catch!, which was named Best Business Book of 2004 by the Independent Publishers Association. I've also edited more than 40 full-length manuscripts, and has served as editor of seven newletters over the years.

One of my pieces was voted Best Personality Feature of 1999 by the Iowa Newspaper Association. I've published four books and more than 600 magazine and newpaper articles over the course of my twenty-year freelancing career.

My monthly "Wit and Wisdom" magazine column helped Iowa REC News win the prestigious George W. Haggard Publishing Award in 1999.
